My name is Stu Clary. I'm a backyard griller and Oakland A's tailgater. I like everything about barbecue - eating it, making it, talking about it. I love finding off the beaten path hole in the wall BBQ joints and have a pipe dream of one day opening up a place of my own. A few years ago I began competing in a few local cookoffs. Nothing sanctioned or anything like that, just local contests. I even host my own tri tip and ribs challenge, which attracts 20 contestants every year. I have four Weber grills: Two 22.5 inch, one 18 inch and a Smokey Joe.
