I've been lurking here since before I bought my WSM last year. Even though I'm from New Jersey, my mentors are all from Central Texas and I've cooked a few times in Leander. I'm very appreciative of all the helpful posts in these forums.

I realized I personally have only one photo of my handy work. This link https://flic.kr/p/q8rsCa goes to a photo of my first brisket attempt back in April. I've had some ups and downs since then. I did proper Texas brisket this past weekend on a very expensive stick burner in the sticks on the very edge of hill country. This website saved me that day since the first batch of post oak was burning real hot so I pulled up the hot and fast brisket page and followed it in the bind. A 11 lb. brisket done in just under 5 hours and it was glorious.
