Genesis EP-330 Side Burner Lowest Setting Level Not Very Low - Any ideas?

I just joined VWBB this week, and this is my first posting. I have been following this forum for a few months and have learned a lot.

I purchased an EP-330 a few months ago and just love it. I noticed that the 330's side burner lower heat setting is still rather high. I can't turn the heat down as low as I would like. I have seen a few others with the same comment. Has anyone experienced this, and if so, how have they addressed it? Looking for some ideas.
 
I'm also a new EP-330 owner and noticed the same thing. I found that instead of turning it from the HIGH to LOW setting for a "small" flame, turn it from HIGH to OFF to get a smaller flame. Of course not going all the way to off. :)
 
I have an S-330, same thing. Turn it slowly from low towards off, you can get a lower flame.
