Food Saver and Butts off the Grill

Going to a football game at 1 PM today, it's 9:30 and the 4 butts are done and I just purchased my food saver last night

I'm going to pull after an hour. Can I foodsave them after an hour or do I have to wait for it to cool?

Should I put it in the refrig when I leave at 11:30 and foodsave when I get back at 4?

Are foodsavers pretty easy to use?
