First brisket ATTEMPT this Saturday -advice welcome


 
I would probably go without. I've been cooking briskets with water though lately. I'd do which ever you are used to.
 
Good luck. I'm smoking my first brisket today as well. I put mine on at 4am and its humming away around 250. Temps up to 104 already. I think I won't wrap mine.
 
SUCCESS!!!!!! Guys, I sure appreciate the great advice given. The cook was great. I can't believe how well my first brisket turned out. I'm overly critical of myself at times, but today....I agreed with the crowd. I don't know how to share a pic, but would be proud to show it off. Thanks again everyone.
 
Pork loin, chops, meatloaf, a couple fatties, chuck roast for pulled beef sandwiches...
Heck, you can't go wrong with burgers and hot dogs either.
