First Beef Ribs


 
Made some beef ribs today, and they came out great. Used my gasser and a wood chip box because we had too many grandbabies running around for me to use the smoker. (We're downtown with a deck and not a lot of space.) Anyway, they came out great - used my own Canada Mike rub, cooked at about 235 for 5 hours. Delish, though everyone agreed pork takes first place.

Beef ribs are a favorite around here, especially to my wife (she's from Texas) and those look great!!!! Nice work Mike!
 
MMMM MMMM. I need me some beef ribs now. I'm not even sure where to purchase beef ribs around here unless I go to a butcher maybe. Sure do miss living in Texas for the availability of cow.
 
I live near a Greek neighbourhood, so I can get things like pork butts and beef ribs that can sometimes be hard to find. these were good. The ends of the bones were cut off, but that just made them better value.
