Has anyone here found a way to control/actuate the butterfly damper on a firebox (off-set) using the HeaterMeter system? I have the blower with servo controlled damper, but would like to just find a way to control the damper directly if possible. Was thinking about a larger servo that could be geared down or strong enough to manage the pit's damper. I realize that the heat would be a factor, but I imagine a rod connected to the damper to prevent the delicate parts from melting. Any thoughts?
