Finally fired up my smoker

The missus bought me a Weber 22" smoker for Christmas . . . 2014! I must confess I was a little intimidated by all the timing and temperature monitoring but I finally jumped in and did some ribs. They turned out OK but I'm looking forward moving forward. The forum looks like a great place for tips and info.

Mastering the WSM isn't difficult and it's a very tasty learning experience. The more cooks you get on it, the more seasoned it becomes and the more set it and forget it the temps will be.
