Dry Brining, When to Inject?

Hey guys, I'm planning on dry brining my bird this year, my question is, do i inject it when i do the dry brine and let it sit for 24hrs? Or dry brine first and then inject right before putting on the WSM? Thanks!

I would inject right before. I would think the salt in the dry brine would draw out some of the injection after 24 hrs.

Regarding Dry Brining, is that just putting salt on the turkey rather than submerging it in a solution of salty water?

I injected last night and added my rub (dry brine), left it uncovered in the fridge until the big day.
