So, wife and I are Disneyworld season pass holders and visit QUITE frequently. We have a golf cart and toy hauler camper and stay at the Wilderness Campground on resort.

We're here this weekend and so we're decorated for St. Patrick's Day since it's the next holiday.

Well, this weekend our middle daughter took some days off and joined us from North Carolina. Last night my knee started acting a fool, so today I let them have a mom daughter day at Epcot. Since I was staying at the camper with the dogs, I decided it was surf and turf night for me

I have a Q2000 that I got because I bought it from a guy selling the Weber table. I didn't need the grill but was pretty much just buying the table. Well, I decided to make it our camper gas grill.

Put the baked potato on the grill while the pups enjoyed the sunset from the back patio

Ribeyes and fresh caught shrimp on the barbie....

Made for a great plate. BTW, I'm required to say that the plate isn't a paper plate, but a melamine plate that is designed to look like one. My wife would be mortified if she thought I was posting a pic of food on a paper plate. Lol. One of her things

Had a great meal while watching my OKC Thunder play the Rockets.

Later, after the game I'll be enjoying a (hopefully victory) bourbon on the patio with a cigar. Discovered a great bourbon last night and went to get some today.

While I didn't step foot into a park today it's been pretty magical. If I do say so myself.

That’s awesome. We’re going to Disneyworld for my first time this May. We’ve been to Disneyland probably 100 times (wife loves DL) we’re also going to look at a couple places to retire. Pt. St. Lucie is of particular interest to me, also Titusville

Everything looks amazing. Love rhe thought of being outdoors.

As a Golden State Warriors fan for a long long time, I have an interesting trivia fact for you, our mascot used to be called Thunder, he was awesome. Once you guys came along the NBA made the Dubs give up the name.
Lots of young talent on that team, it just might be your time.
Thanks for all the pics. How’s that new gasser working out?

I am loving the Genesis more than I thought I would. I forgot how great of a grill it is. I've been using it pretty exclusively since I got it to try to get some season on it and it just just a beast of a grill. Didn't expect to like it as much as I am. Lol.

This Q2000 surprised me this weekend too. This was the trial weekend to see if it would be our camper gas grill and it was great.

Man, I hope you are right about the Thunder. Even to us diehard fans, the young squad is way ahead of schedule. I'm just trying my best to enjoy it while we can.

My uncle lives in Pt. St. Lucie. He’s a retired pilot and apparently there are houses with airplane hangers on the property. The last time the family went to DisneyWorld, the shuttle bus driver we had told us his daughter was the Snow White character there. He gave us 2 great tips. While you’re waiting in line to take the train inside, you can ask an attendant if you can ride with the conductor. They took us out of line and escorted us to the conductor’s engine. We went both coming and going). The other great tip he told us was to start in the back of the park and work your way forward so you’re near the front gate when it’s time to leave. Keep in mind this was a LONG time ago, before you could make ride reservations.
Have fun and say “hi” to Donald Duck for me. He was may college mascot. Go Ducks!

That looks like a great setup and the steak and shrimp look wonderful. Hope the pups got some steak.
I love their "patio". Those 2 are living the life!

I went to Disneyworld about 25 years ago. We spent a week in one of the resort hotels and had a great time. I liked it much better than Disneyland, which I had visited a few years prior.
But now that I am 25 years older 🙄, the day you had sounds much more appealing than traipsing around the park. LOL

AND you got to enjoy your victory drink. 😉

That was one awesome plate of food. I'd seat that any time and the outdoors is the place to enjoy it. Rich and I did that a lot with our trailer and dog out in the desert. I love the pups set up and I'm sure they had there steak also.:)

I'll tell you what... we used to bring the kids every other year for summer vacation. We would do the full week, on resort, full days at all 4 parks. Great memories and loved all of it.

But, you know what MIGHT be even better? Lol. Now that the kids are grown and we live close we have season passes and go about twice a month since we've had the passes. We stay at the wilderness campgrounds which is still on property but we get to bring the pups. We sleep in each day, wake up and make our coffee, then head to the pool for a few hours. Then we'll get ready and head to whichever park my wife has made dinner reservations for that night. We stroll through the park on our own pace. If there's a ride we want to do and it doesn't have a line, we'll do that. We enjoy a nice dinner and then watch the fireworks to finish the evening. Then we wake up and do it all again the next day. It's basically just relaxing at the resort, eating great food and drinks, with all the magic thrown in that we want.

We watch all the families there with the young kids and going through the whole deal and it's a fun moment where we remember all the great memories we made that way but also are glad we're getting to enjoy it now the relaxing way. Lol

That looks like a great meal and a great time.
Props to you for doing it right and living large.

We haven’t been to a Disney park in near 30 years.
We used to take the kids about every year until they were 10 then we switched to Mexico and the Caribbean.
I’d like to go back to Disney one day.

Disney World and Universal Florida is so much better than what the west coast has to offer.
