Cooking grates peeling?


 
Glad Weber CS took care of the situation. I've never heard of bad CS from Weber. You don't think the guy you bought it from hit it with some "chrome paint" or something to make it look newer than it actually is? I don't think I would cook on it but you could use it to start your chimney on or something.
 
Somewhere in the deep, dark recesses of my mind it seems like I heard once from a CS guy (not Weber) that certain foods left too long after cooking on grates will damage the finish. That's all I got, I can't remember any more.
