Robertsville State Park is only 35 miles away, but I'd never been there.
Me, myself, and I went for a one nighter to check it out in the '93 Roadtrek.
The weather was perfect one day, rained the next.

Joe was the first thing out.

Come evening, I fired up my tin can chimney with some lump.

Awoke this morning to a light rain, but was determined to make breakfast on the Joe.
Bacon, sausage, potatoes, and an Anaheim pepper.

Why dirty a dish for the eggs?
Mixed up in a baggie.

Ready with a little salsa verde on the eggs.

Then the rain picked up and drove me inside.

Had a nice slow rainy drive home.

Well, if you made it to here, thank you for the visit, and have a great weekend!

Great post and cooks Bob!!

We are gonna leave in a little bit and go camping this weekend too. I have the trailer all ready to go, just waiting on my Wife as usual and an other couple.

I'll echo everyone else:
Outstanding photographs Bob!
You certainly know how to "rough it"! Dinner & Breakfast looks just Great!!

who's the guy using the Frabill?

Looks like a relaxing trip with great food!
I must admit that I envy you. I'm looking forward to the time of the year when the world turns green again. Spring is a month away here where I live, and all the greens in your pictures is something I look forward to.

Man, that looks like fun... I work in a State Park and we have nature around us every day.

Jim, you're very observant. It took me a while to figure out what you meant by the "Frabill" comment...

Thanks everyone, y'all are too kind!

I had sent the entire 50+ picture album to my daughter and thought I'd share a couple of the ones she liked.

Roughing it by the campfire while checking out the weather on a portable TV.
