Where is a good butcher or meat shop, besides a supermarket, in the South Jersey/Philly area...

what are people's opinions of BJ's as compared to Costco and Sams.

I have a BJ's and Costcos membership. I prefer to go to BJ's myself. Better selection of large cuts of meat at BJ's. Costcos does give out better samples though lol.

If I had to choose 1, it would be BJ's.

I have a Sam's and BJ's relatively close to each other. It's easy for me to shop at one and then visit the other on the way home. I go to Sam's for ribs because they have the best price. I go to BJ's for pork loins and butts for the same reason above, price. If I had to choose one over the other it would be BJ's.

There's a little butcher shop of the main drag just past Riverton and Cinammonson on the Jersey side. Sorry, I can't recall the name.

If I remeber correctly, most of the butchers around that area are ethnic.
