Brisket Injection

Going to be making a couple briskets next weekend. I never really inject them but I wanted to do it this time and was wondering what receipies everyone uses?

Chuck, I have made my own following several recipes posted here and other sites. Recently I purchased Kosmos beef injection, and really like it. You may not need it but it puts the brisket on another shelf.

Chuck, here's one I collected recently and plan to try:

BIG COW BEEF INJECTION MARINADE

2 C beef broth
1/4 C Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp cayenne powder

Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Refrigerate until cold.

I usually just use whatever rub I'm using with some beef broth or beer.

Cool guys thanx for the info. Compares with most of the receipes I have read. Just like hearing it from someone instead of just in print in a book.

Does anybody here add any Sodium Phosphate for water retention? If so, how much do you add?
