Blues Hog taste test

Brined and injected (creole Cajun butter) chicken thighs. Smoked on the pit smoker using hickory. Threw on some bacon wrapped pretzel sticks (goes good with oat sodas). Found $1 samplers (Blues Hog) @ Wally World. Tried “original”, “Tennessee Red”, and “raspberry chipotle”. And winner was
Tennessee Red

Key on the original... heat it up prior to putting on meat so it thinly coats rather than covers.

I got a bottle of Blue Hog back in July. Not knowing what to expect, found it be quite amazing. Been looking for it in the stores with no luck, will probably have to order it online

Chuck... On the Blues Hog site, there's a store locator function. There's 3 locations near me. One at 1.3 miles, one at 2.9, and one at 4.4 miles.
