Best Pork Loin to Date

Kind of a crappy weekend after getting hit hard with a cold on Friday, but the pork loin that night turned out to be my best ever. So good in fact you should try it.

1/4 pork loin butterflied, marinated overnight in Johnny Fleeman's marinade, and 1/4 pork loin injected over night with 2:1 guava nectar and sweet smoke Q juice.

Fleeman's roast gets trussed and a coat of salt/pepper and Q juice loin gets The Slabs Perk up Your Pork.

On the roti, a little too much charcoal on a bed of used charcoal, with pecan wood...

All done, pulled at 139, ran a little too hot...

After dinner broke out the new slicer (get one of these!)

Quick work, slices as thin as you want.

Great sammies on the way...

Unless you're referring to the P/L bug.....to late I already have it! Great looking cook Alan. I hope this took away some of the BS of being sick. I love my meat candy slicer too! I hope you feel better, thanks for sharing.

Very fine looking pork loin!!! I agree with you 100%, if you have a rotisserie you need to have a slicer too, especially if you like sandwiches.
