Bacon Wrapped Petite Tenders

Love these little steaks, and the way they plump up when you cook them.

Kickstarted the cook with a new to me BM mix.
It's great, except for the sodium level, it will get cut with some low sodium V8.

Brooke guarding the deck area against marauding bears.
She's good, haven't seen one yet!

Added a lonely chuck-eye, found growing a beard in the freezer.

Cooked a couple of Russets over Kb, then added lump for the meat.

Worked on the bacon wrap first.

Garlic butter on top.

Rabbit food first.

Garlic butter on the meat, bread, and potato.

The PT's were great, the chuck-eye got tossed out.

tried jimmy luv's when it first came out, free bloodies in the parking lot at miller park served by jimmy roeglin himself. he walked thru the lot, tailgate party to tailgate party... pouring bloodies WITH top shelf vodka....
it was pretty good.
so I bought a bottle when I saw it for sale in the store.
went home, made a bm, .... not the same. so I haven't bought it since. then tried it again... same difference.

I don't get the beard on the chuck eye.... are you not vacuum sealing your meat Bob?
Looks good, why toss it? ida chopped it and added it to Brooke's backpack for nibblin' while she's on lookout for those marauding bears

I just meant that the cuck-eye had grown old in the freezer, it was well wrapped.
I have a sealer, and should use it more, just too lazy to drag it out most of the time.
