A Very Special Sirloin Steak Cook

I had the opportunity to cook a beautiful piece of meat, and wanted to make it really special. I used an idea that was posted last week (I wanna say Bill posted it, but not 100%) and crushed fresh rosemary to season the steak for a few hours. I also added fresh crushed clove of garlic in EVOO to the steak to let it simmer in. As sides I had some quick cooked asparagus and baked potatoes with all the fixins.

Here's the special part.... First cook on my new Spirit!

She's a jewel! She's slender and beautiful, tough and efficient. Heats up fast, and boy was it delicious! I was home alone as well, so she was great company while I sat out on the screened in porch and ate.

No center cut pics, but this is the remnants of my bone. I think it was a pretty darn good steak. Maybe even one of the best performances of my life.

Great looking steaks Luke! One day I'm going to have my little herb garden, nothing beats fresh herbs! I don't own a Spirit but I've cooked on it about a month ago camping
and really enjoyed cooking on it!

Awesome cook, that steak was spot on. Nothing like cooking on a Weber the only way to go.
