Old favorite....Country Style Ribs

We were watching "Smoked" last week on destination America and they made some CSR. It reminded me that it's been a while since I have smoked some. Next day I saw them on sale.

This cook was on the WSCG...Used orange wood for flavor. Smoked at 225. Once we got the color we wanted they went into a pan with BBQ sauce until it was tender. Took about 3 hours.

Thanks for your time.

Looks really good! I have never had country style ribs, but they look like a combo rib/chop, is that how you cok them?

We just did the same smoked for about 2 hours into an apple juice/bbq sauce and seasoning covered for two more. Great stuff. Yours looks fantastic.

Beautiful. Country Style ribs don't get enough love, IMO. When I was a kid, they were what my mom called "barbecued ribs". She would sear them like a pork chop, then simmer them in sauce for about an hour until tender.
