Hi all,

I'll be away for some days. Leaving tomorrow for the NASCAR Championship weekend at Homestead, FL, courtesy of my lovely wife.

But back to the post, I just got a new knife delivered straight from Japan. It's a Nakiri - a Japanese vegetable knife. It was forged by Shigeki Tanaka with a core of VG-10 Stainless Steel and a soft stainless Damascus cladding. This thing is a razor! Very thin and very sharp. It is so sweet with the veggies :). And it only cost $90.00. It sells for $144.00 here in the US.

it's a looker! Mine has been fun to use. Sometimes I question its value and then I use it again.
 
Congrats on going to the race. I'm pretty disappointed cup racing these days, not so much that the racing has got bad, but this "race for the chase" sucks big time
