Trust me when I say, the pizzas tasted way better than the pictures can show, it was a great cook

So the oversized lid in the first picture - is that from another grill, or is it part of the Kettle Pizza kit? Thanks!
 
Way to go chuck you nailed those pies! Never would have thought the WSM would work so well and as said the pictures tell the story perfectly.
 
Thats the best looking pizza on this forum and on a WSM, who would have thought.

According to the thermometer on the Kettle Pizza, the temp was just a tad under 600 I ran my WSM without the defuser and without the door on, which really lets the WSM get hot but by the time the heat gets to my pizza stone on the top rack, it's right about where you want the temp to be. Wood cooked pizza is the only way to go, I don't know that you can do a wood cooked pizza very well in a 22" kettle? I was real happy with the results, had a lot of help prepin' the pizzas, really all I had to do was stand out by the WSM and drink wine :)

I wasn't too thrilled with photbucket, I need to find a better picture place. Below is an effort to try and get the best of, but it's a pain with photobucket

i cooked 3 pizzas, I started with 2 pieces of wood and added two pieces of wood. What was surprising was that the pizzas took about about 15 minutes each
