    I didn't see where anybody else asked this. how much charcoal did you use? I know it was your first cook but when cooking ribs (4-5 hours) you dont have to fill the ring completly as you would when doing butts (12-14) hours. I am new at this WSM so I could be off its still a learning curve to me...

    Grommet Mod For New ET-732

    I used painters tape drilled a small pilot hole then used a 1/2" unibit worked perfect. Painted the nipple with high heat black paint so it would blend in.

    If you keep the temp @ 225 depending on the size of the butts you will need more time (12-14 Hours).

    Just put mine together last week, you have to do a little of adjustment to the door but its aluminium so it real easy to bend.

    Thanks for all the info here did my 1st weekend of smoking on my new 22.5 (15lb pork butt, 2 whole chickens and a small brisket) every thing turn out great and again thanks with all the help from installing the Maverick ET-732 to adjusting temp. This forum is great!!!!!!
