    Broken handle on kettle grill

Hi all, Long time since I have posted anything here. However now it is time. I have a lid from an old kettle, where the handle is broken off at the welding. I have a welder myself and want to reattach the handle again. But when I am trying, and have removed the enamel there is no connection...

    Weber Genesis E330

Thanks LMichaels, but the fittings you are referring to, is that the one connecting to the gas bottle? Some say that the air and gas mixture is different?

    Weber Genesis E330

Hi all, I will be moving back to Denmark, Europe in 5 weeks and intend to bring my Weber Genesis with me. But I just heard that it will be costly to adjust it to Danish standards. I actually thought that it was just the hose connector which needed to be changed, but it seems that it is more...

About to buy first smoker, WSM 22", need a starter accesory kit, recommendations?

Hi Brandon, Like Len said, you will see several mods for these WSMs, I have added the gasket for mine, plus this weekend I added an extra cooking grate, so mine now holds 3 cooking grates, without using a stacker.

    DIY stacker

Hi all, I found another mod which actually would extend the "ribs capacity" with 50% :) I found it here: http://virtualweberbullet.com/increasecapacity.html (the mod made by Jonas Klint). So made this during the weekend as well, and managed to get one more grate inside my WSM. This is working...

    DIY stacker

Hi all, I now tried to make the stacker for my WSM, but after I had assembled it the lid/dome would not fit, as there should be an edge which it could rest on inside. The lids/domes for kettles are different as they are not resting on the inside of the cooking chamber. So this one did not work...

    DIY stacker

Cool, thanks all. My WSM is 18.5 inch. I will have a look on the treads you have provided me. Unfortunately I do not know a welder around here, but I was thinking of a solution where no welding is required. Maybe by using several pieces of sheet metal and then attach them with rivets.

    DIY stacker

Hi all, Anyone who have tried making a stacker for their WSM or kettle themselves. I know that Cajunbandit have made one, but do not want to invest too much, as I might buy a bigger smoker next year. Yesterday I looked at de-constructing a Brinkmann Smoke n Grill, but I am not sure if the...

Pro BBQ stacker vs Cajun Bandit stacker for WSM 18.5

Thanks Robert-R, it seems that they are not making the Proq stacker anymore, so I will look at bit further on Cajun Bandit:)

Pro BBQ stacker vs Cajun Bandit stacker for WSM 18.5

Hi all, I have a WSM 18.5 and I need more capacity in it, before I will have the saving for a gravity feed smoker. So I have been looking at the stackers from both Pro BBQ and Cajun Bandit, and therefore wanted to know if any of you guys have tried any of them and maybe can recommend one. As I...

First batch of beef baby back ribs

Thanks guys, really appreciate it. Jim: I had them on for a total of 5 hours, but will give them hours the next time. Have them wrapped part of the process as well. I normally go low and slow, so I am normally aiming for 225 degrees F in all my cooks. My rub has, paprika, onion powder...

First batch of beef baby back ribs

Hi all, I yesterday made my first batch of beef baby back ribs on my WSM 18.5". I think the result was pretty good, but I think they could have taken one more hour in the smoker to get the perfect tenderness. I used my own rub and had it sitting for approx. 2 hours or so before putting in on...
