Thanks for the write up Matt. I'm down south, not too far from Philly.

What is everyone cooking this weekend?

Depending on the weather I'm going to squeeze a 16lb brisket on my 18.5".

When we were talking about it I mentioned it was available in a few different colors. She came so she could approve the color. grill by jafo326, on Flickr[/IMG]

    Gas grill decision, Help.

Thanks, Chuck and Eric. My wife and I took a ride to our local Weber dealer this morning, and came home with a Genesis 330 in copper.

Is it the size difference that makes for the higher price tag, or is the build quality better on the genesis? I do see they both have the same warranty.

    Gas grill decision, Help.

I have an old weber spirit that is finally just falling apart, so i'm in the market for a new gas grill. I was looking at the spirit 310 at Home Depot, this one comes with the gourmet bbq system, but from what I can see in order for them to offer it at the same price as the regular spirit over...

    Seasoning WSM

Fired mine up, and did the basic BBQ chicken. Here's the link, http://www.virtualweberbullet.com/chicken6.html I've got a batch on right now too, so glad it's finally getting warmer.

First Chuck roast on the WSM.

Ok, I'm an idiot! I pulled it, put in the chili, and forgot to take more pics. I'm doing a pork butt tomorrow, I'll try again to remember pictures.

First Chuck roast on the WSM.

Put a chuck roast on this morning at around 9:30am. I'm planning on using some of the meat for chili that i'm making for the super bowl. I started off with filling the ring with charcoal and 3 chunks of apple wood, then a half chimney of lit to go on top. I started with one gallon of hot water...

Hope I'm not hijacking here, but Linda, how long do the batteries last on your PartyQ? Do you change them after each cook, or can you get multiple cooks? Thanks.

    2nd Smoke tomorrow

I've been using Sweet Rub O' Mine lately, and really like it. I like my Q' hot and fresh, so i'm planning on waking up nice and early to do a 10lb butt for Sunday.

How cold does it have to be for you to not BBQ?

Dave, just shovel around it and use the snow as a natural wind barrier. :)

How cold does it have to be for you to not BBQ?

Been out in the mid twenties. This Saturday morning is forecast to be around 8ºF. We'll see how I make out. Maverick ET-732 is a nice way to monitor temps and keep warm at the same time.

I'm a little jealous of the snowpocalypse the northeast is getting!

My location didn't live up to the hype. Sunday they were calling for up to 24", then they kept lowering it. We ended up getting maybe 3". Honestly I was disappointed. I got a new snow blower this year, and wanted to run it through it's paces. I used it anyway, but over a foot would have been...
