My 22.5 " WSM just arrived here in Australia from the U.S. 2 days ago - 1 day before my Birthday. But it has the older instruction Booklet in it printed in 2012, and NO TEMP PROBE GROMMET ! :confused: I can't believe there are any of these still in circulation. Feeling slightly disappointed...

Interesting ..... It looks like you've gone into the side of the Smoker without the extension ring. So you've just attached them both to the platform in the correct position for the hopper to go into the bowl and be held in position without the original mounting brackets ? It looks good...

@ Terry Mo, Did they ask you for a Serial # from your Weber Grill before they would sell these grills to you ( like a replacement spare part ), or did they just sell them to you as an accessory without requiring any Serial # ?

Tom, Unfortunately, these S/S grates don't appear to have ever been sold outside of Weber. They appear to have been a well kept secret - I think they were only intended to be sold with the Performer Platinum, or something. If anybody knows someone else who sells them, I'm quite happy to try...

The above link now says the product is not available. Does anyone over there in the U.S. know if Weber have actually withdrawn these from sale ? Or are they still selling them as a replacement part when people phone up, ( but just not openly advertising them ).
