Buying WSM Silicon Grommets As A Spare Part ?

Update: My thanks go out to fellow member TonyUK. Though living in a different country, he very generously went out of his way to purchase a couple of these Grommets for me locally and then forwarded them over to me in Australia. What a guy. :) You can't say enough about an online...

Yeah, ..... that's what they say about circumcision. Still .......

Buying WSM Silicon Grommets As A Spare Part ?

I probably should've worded my original post a bit better. I was curious if Weber make them available over in the U.S. as Spares for 'anyone who wants to install them on an earlier model' - but my particular interest was installing a grommet in a Cajun Bandit 22.5 " Stacker Ring that I have. I...

Buying WSM Silicon Grommets As A Spare Part ?

Robert, I wanted to buy a couple to experiment with installing them in Stacker Rings for use with both my WSM and Kettles. You weren't too impressed with the performance of the thing then, I take it ?

Buying WSM Silicon Grommets As A Spare Part ?

Does anyone on this forum know if the WSM Silicon Grommets are available individually through Weber ( for anyone who wants to install them on an earlier model ) ? And if so, does anyone know what they cost ? And are they also available for sale in the U.S. from anyone other than Weber ? Over...

Cookbook recommendations for a New WSM owner

It looks interesting. But equally interesting is the book which is recommended as an additional purchase with it: Secrets to Smoking on the Weber Smokey Mountain Cooker and Other Smokers: An Independent Guide with Master Recipes from a BBQ Champion As a new owner of a 22.5 WSM, I'd like to...

What is a Weber "Compact Kettle Charcoal Grill"??

" Holy cannoli, $400 for a One Touch Gold? They are $150 here. Are your dollars different from ours? " No, our dollar is approx. US$ 0.90 It's just Weber's international pricing policy at work. Try and figure why so many of us import them into the country through friends and relatives who...

    Second B-Day Present Arrived Today

My 22.5 " WSM just arrived here in Australia from the U.S. 2 days ago - 1 day before my Birthday. But it has the older instruction Booklet in it printed in 2012, and NO TEMP PROBE GROMMET ! I can't believe there are any of these still in circulation. Feeling slightly disappointed...

    WSM pellet pooper =)

Interesting ..... It looks like you've gone into the side of the Smoker without the extension ring. So you've just attached them both to the platform in the correct position for the hopper to go into the bowl and be held in position without the original mounting brackets ? It looks good...

Weber Stainless Steel Grate price increase!

@ Terry Mo, Did they ask you for a Serial # from your Weber Grill before they would sell these grills to you ( like a replacement spare part ), or did they just sell them to you as an accessory without requiring any Serial # ?

Weber Stainless Steel Grate price increase!

Tom, Unfortunately, these S/S grates don't appear to have ever been sold outside of Weber. They appear to have been a well kept secret - I think they were only intended to be sold with the Performer Platinum, or something. If anybody knows someone else who sells them, I'm quite happy to try...

Weber Stainless Steel Grate price increase!

From the above post: The link to Part #3070784 When I click on this link, a message appears on the page saying " We are sorry, but the product you are looking for is not available. " Is there anybody over there in the States who can confirm if Weber are still currently selling these grills...

Is there a better 22.5 grate ? WSM

The above link now says the product is not available. Does anyone over there in the U.S. know if Weber have actually withdrawn these from sale ? Or are they still selling them as a replacement part when people phone up, ( but just not openly advertising them ).

    Greetings from Australia

Hi everyone, I've been dropping in and reading various posts from time to time over the last 6-7 years. I have owned a number of Weber Kettles over the last 21 years ( but I've only ever used them for grilling steaks, burgers, fish, sausages, bacon & eggs, etc, :o ). I only started to get...
