What was your best kettle accessory purchase?

For my 27 inch kettle, it was my Craycort. For my Performer, it was my EZ-que rotisserie baskets.

Replacement legs for Smokey Joe Gold?

Actually, I just looked at this picture. It's older and they were find here. Now they have an extra "joint" from all the bending and bending back.

Replacement legs for Smokey Joe Gold?

When the grill gets hot, the whole thing tilts. I can bend it back but the process only repeats itself. Any suggestions?

Replacement legs for Smokey Joe Gold?

Yeah, I guess that would be helpful information huh? It's probably about 5 years old. Plastic handle. Nothing special about it other than the fact that it was a gift. Here's a picture that's on my phone. If this doesn't help, let me know and I'll take a better one without the tamale pot. I...

Replacement legs for Smokey Joe Gold?

The legs on my SJG have been bent for a while. They are so cheap, I would replace the whole grill but this particular grill has sentimental value (it was a gift from my sister) so I want to repair it if I can. Anybody know the cheapest place to replace the legs on a Smokey Joe Gold? I'll call...

New Grates or a New Grill?

I believe the rust on the frame may still be under warranty. As for the grates, I got the rod style grates from the ebay guy. I considered them a luxury, but in your case, it seems like a necessity. It would take a LONG time to wear those out. In fact, I really don't think you can.

    Higher temps on my mini-WSM

So my WSM has been great for low and slow by not good for higher heat cooks. The highest I could ever get it if I was lucky and the stars aligned was 325 and it usually topped out around 300. Today I was fooling around with it, and figured out that I can get a lot more heat out of it if I ever...

Difference from one Weber CS rep to another

I called in to register a grill and report something that was broken out of the box and the lady asked me why I had so many grills. I said I love Weber. She accused me of being a camp sight and said I voided my warranty. I thought she was kidding. Turns out, not so much. She finally said "Why...

Finally Found Me A Gas Grill

Awesome score, man. That's going to look great in "the armada" of grills you have. The side burner is AWESOME for lighting a chimney starter.

The Weber Era Seems to Be Over

Can't help but think back to the change in ownership to an "investment group" last year. Investment groups buy to make a profit and boost their financials..Not a thing in the world wrong with that; However (though overall it would not be a smart move) I'm sure it has occurred to some analyst...

How often do you clean your flavorizers?

I don't clean them really. I do change the drip pan and scrape the bottom of the grill but that's about it.

    Chimney starter.....

I've found the best way for me is definitely the side burner on the gasser if you have one. The burner hits the charcoal all around the bottom so it all lights up at once and then whole thing is lit in about 15 minutes. Plus, I don't have to find a match or lighter, clean up ash, or buy Weber...

Good choice! I love mine. By the way, soak up this picture...they will never be this pretty again.

    craycort cast iron grill

I have both. This is correct. The bars are also further apart on the STOK grate. It's heavy enough but it's just not as heavy a grill as the craycort. Still, it's nice in that it has not rusted on me unlike the craycort which I do have to keep oiled. This will be less of a problem with the...

Stainless steel or cast iron grate

I TOTALLY endorse him. I had a weird transaction due to the US post office which I don't really want to go into just because it would take longer to explain than it's worth, but let me sum up with this. He's a nice guy. He's an honest businessman. He makes a good product and stands behind it.
