Gustav Hurricane Party / 1st Week of College Football

I'm a little bummed the hurricane is headed our way. Hopefully Gustav will provide a little less drama than Katrina. I have to look on the bright side of life though. College Football is less than 13 hrs away now that the LSU game is at 10AM.. Perfect timing for some fatties & beignets! Hope...

How to get BBQ Mop clean?

I agree with Tim, Wal-Mart even carries BBQ Mops now. If it costs under a buck, I'm not too fired up to clean it.

    Kansas City BBQ Sauces (retail)

Richard, My favorite KC sauce is Three Little Pigs. Our website has more repeat orders for Three Little Pigs than any other sauce. Their Spicy Chipotle BBQ Sauce is Awesome. I would also try the Buck Creek Line. These are my favorites and can be found in some stores around KC.

teachers, bus driver and grand parent gifts

Here is another idea. My wife actually came to me with a good idea today for some relatives that like to grill. A charcoal chimney loaded with knick knacks for the grill. Not a bad little gift

Here is a summary of my day's work: Baby Backs

Worked all day on these baby backs and my old Jeep. Link below shows some photos on what happened on the smoker: http://www.saucehog.com/recipes/smokers/WHAMBABYBACKs.html I basically wanted to try the rolled ribs in my WSB. These ribs cheered me up after the Saints loss.

Great links gentlemen. These look fantastic. I can't wait to try these out. I am also a big fan of making bbq burritos. I don't have a recipe, I just put everything I love into a tortilla wrap.

    Baby Backs or Spare?

I would probably side with baby backs. Not the popular vote here, but I do like them slightly better. Nothing like a nice rack of babybacks...

    Rolled Ribs

Tomorrow I am prepping for smoking some rolled baby backs following this recipe on the bullet: http://www.virtualweberbullet.com/rib1.html Usually if the bullet has it as a recipe, if you follow it you will enjoy your meal. My all time favorite is the midnight brisket. I am extremely excited...
