Weber Q Plus

Hey all! I just randomly found some videos from Australia about the new Weber Q Plus. It is a new Q with a new shape to the shell that looks like it will provide more space inside and it has an extra burner. The extra burner can be used along with the regular burner to sear at a higher temp or it can be used alone to allow low and slow cooking. I contacted Weber and they indicated that the unit is only available in Australia at this time. The reply they sent made it sound like it will be available in the US at some time. Does anyone out there have additional information on this new Q? This may be the perfect solution for us as we live in our RV. Thanks!

From what I understand, the extra burner on the new Q is only on the largest models. ie The current Q3200 we have available here, which also has the extra burner.
I’m not sure if the extra volume on the lid is that beneficial but I guess couldn’t hurt.

The new line of Q models will be coming to the US, but I don't have a definitive launch date to share at this time. Stay tuned.

One of the changes is that the mid-size model will now also be available with a second burner.
