Weber Cleaning Products


 
Weber may offer products in Europe because they have less competition there, or maybe because the products have chemicals that are banned here. IMHO, Weber looks closely at their market and decides which products will make them the most money.

prices are outa wack but tere is all that shipping and i assume there are dealer markups.
but still europe gets things that are never seen in america which issuper odd.
 
Shipping is usually blamed for high costs but if you have a standard 40' shipping container you should get about 380 22.5" kettle packages in it. Shipping cost is in the area of $3500-4000 so shipping cost/kettle is about $10.
So if we take the OTG $150 price and add $10 we end up with $160 which equals about 120 euro adds finnish 24% VAT we get 150 euro but the price in finland is from about 229€. Just over $100 more for the same kettle.
 
again, i'm just not sure of the distributership and dealer setup in europe. i would assume everyone has their bit of markup.
