Weber 18" OTS - Bud Light (NIB) on CL

I like to buy it as a surprise gift for my Brother, and frankly it is the only brand New in-box one on CL. The person selling it wants $50, is it worth it? The backup plan (my brother wants a 22.5 OTG really - thru past conversations findings) could be for me to buy it and shorthen its legs for beach BBQing (or tailgating). Is it worth it or too much hastle?

I've seen the one your talking about on CL. It is worth $50, but I'd offer $40 and see what he says....he probably bought it for free as I've seen a few others around the country up for sale brand new in box....
