Turned an OTS into OTG

I just re-purposed an old, used Performer - I took the ash catcher from the performer and put it onto my OTS that I won years ago in a bbq competition. It is now the equivalent of the OTG.

This made me think - is there anything else I could be doing with this old performer, aside using it for spare parts on my current performer / are there any other kettle mods you have done to make life easier?

My backyard looks like a hoarders paradise with all these bbq's floating around...

The Lid bale could be re purposed onto the same OTS/OTG. Now its a poor mans Master touch!

If the Frame and Table top are in good shape, some people remove the kettle bowl and put a WSM on the bottom rack. Now you have a mobile platform WSM with a work table.

That being said if i come across a cheap Performer(Silver) on craigslist, i will be copying his idea!

The ash pan holder isn't as "tight" to the kettle bottom as I would have liked, but way better than the silver original plate...
