Simple Little Lambies

Picked up some Australian baby loin lamb chops that were calling to me. Marinated them in EVOO, Penzey's Turkish Seasoning and salt.





Thought I should marinate myself too, so . . .



I was about to start some KBB, but when I went outside it was raining pretty good - soooo, this turned into a Gasser cook. Got the ol Silver B going and heated up the ManGrates.

Hmmm, they look about ready to go on



Ran out and got things started (action shots taken under less than perfect conditions).





In and resting



Served with some steamed Broccoli and Onion.

Excellent!!! You've motivated me, just this week I saw some lammie chops in the store winkin' at me, so I too will ask you to divulge the seasoning secret.

This is from the Penzey's website:

Turkish Seasoning: Hand mixed from: salt, garlic, cumin, Tellicherry black pepper, Turkish oregano, sweet paprika, sumac, cayenne red pepper, and cilantro.
 
I picked up a pack of those last week at Sam's, and maybe I'll use your cook as a guide..........those look quite tasty........................d
