On a lighter note, I think I had a jacket very much like that when I was a kid, in third or fourth grade I had my picture taken wearing it. My dad carried that picture in his wallet until he died!

Welcome to the club of the loss of a parent & Parents.
As you remember my dad passed a little over 5 months ago now.
So I know what you are feeling, yes, I truely do.
As far as mom, 6 years ago on March 1st. As you I have been there & done that.
And its only made me stronger & hardened to the facts of life.
I'm glad that you had your parents around for many years
