Have been noticing slight rust development where the handle attaches to the lid on my mid-90's RED stainless Performer and was wondering if anyone has suggestions for the best match and best performing high-temp paint to touch it up before it gets worse? Oh, and where to buy it online also, if you guys know.

Thanks all.

Thank you guys.

Yeah, I was thinking some petroleum jelly or something to slow it down but wanted a more permanent solution if I could find it!!! Good suggestion though sir - thank you.

I haven't found the krylon anywhere

I checked home depot and ace, the ones here don't have the red.

i guess i can check sherwin williams.

I have a couple spots on my red cajun bandit that i can still do some burn testing with

The problem with the stove paint is that it only handles temps up to 600 degrees continuous. When you bank the coals it will burn or flake off in that area.
