Pork Butts and sausage

I'm doing an over night 4 butt Mr. Brown smoke and would like to add some sausage the last 1-2 hours.
I normally only add wood once at the start.
Should I add a few more blocks of wood along with the sausage to get it smoky or leave it alone?

I thinking some bratworst and Polish. Any other suggestions?

Thank you for your comments.

Monty's right. Adding wood won't hurt your pork butt. Might even make it better. Easy to overdo it on sausage, though, so don't add too much.

You will be going light on the wood anyway for the sausage so the butt will be fine. Heck, the butt will probably be foiled by then anyway.........

Smoker ran hot and finished way early.

So I just did the sausage alone.
I smoked german brots, hungarian sweet kolbasi , and polish garlic kolbasi.
An hour and a half took then to 155* and they lasted all of ten minutes when served.
Doing sausage at the end of a smoke is a good quick bang for the buck!!!
