A good one that takes a "general" (equipment independent) view of smoking is Barbeque Secrets by Ron Sewchuck.
When I got started with my WSM, I picked up a few useful snippets in that one
For beginners - Gary Wiviot's "Low & Slow" book/program gives a decent, regimented way to get started, and he's also quite a fan of using the WSM.
Other than that - I was lurking here for a few years before I took the plunge and ordered my 18" WSM
