I think I have EVERYTHING for that cook except the Goya Adobo! I picked up the Moosehead today, it just called to me! The Latino market is open tomorrow so, I might just get some of that and make that for dinner tomorrow! Gracias mi amigo!

Richard, I have several recipes for Adobo, wet and dried. Some of the dried recipes are Puerto Rican. Are they ok to post?
Thanx Joan and will appreciate one of your PR spice recipe. My wife’s “mashers” was real winner along-side the avocado green salad dressed with a tasty vinaigrette! Do like the “Goya” products.

Your right Richard, everything looks delicious. I'm not saying give up Goya, I'm just saying in case of no Goya, you could use a few other things. 🥰 For example.........I will post some idea's on the spice thread.

Richard I see Moosehead beer in your photo , are you able to get Canadian Moosehead beer in Costa Rica ?
Hi Bill and the excellent Moosehead Beer is readily available in many supermarkets and Restaurants/Bars here in Costa Rica. My go-to beers are the Moosehead,Millers Draft and the Costa Rican Beer Imperial. Today the Moosehead sells for around $2.00usa in supermarkets and around $6.00usa In restaurants/bars.

A Canadian Mossehead bottled beer here in Canada would be approx the same price as you are paying in Costa Rica . price = $2.64 CDN =$1.97 USD , all our alchohol here is heavily taxed to compensate for free healthcare.

We have similar tax to support the government funded healthcare system which is around 13% and in a restaurant/bar is 13% sales tax plus 10% Service charge for a total of 23%. Also the US dollar has significantly fallen which today is 511 Colones for each US Dollar.

That's a great cook, Richard. You have a gift for chicken!
Tim; Thanx for the nice comment as most of my many posts on this forum have been grilling chicken. My Costa Rican wife does not eat any pork products but I really like now-and-then a thick grilled pork chop, pork chorizo, etc. This month I hope to post some photos of a grilled pork chop or a thick Beef Ribeye. I also need to break-out my Cajun Bandit Rotisserie to spin a chunk of good beef! The past-posted old photo on-the-right are some tasty chicken wings spinning in a Napoleon Brand Basket.
