If you've got time to LEAN, you've got time to CLEAN!

If your resume includes having worked at a fast food restaurant, you may remember the saying, "If you've got time to LEAN, you've got time to CLEAN." Same is true when barbecuing with your Weber smoker. Finish that cold beer, then grab a damp cloth, ring it out well, and CAREFULLY wipe down the porcelain enamel surfaces of your cooker. The combination of moisture and heat will remove the gunk and restore a shine you can be proud of!

Thanks for the prodding Chris. My WSK was looking pretty dirty last cook and I have a chore for this weekend now! I typically use a small ice cream pail of water with Dawn dish detergent. Cuts the grease. I might cheat this time and use the Dawn power wash and then just water to "rinse" off the soap. To hold myself accountable I will post pictures next week! LOL
