Yeah a firepit fired off gas is just wrong on so many levels. Where is the pop and snap of the wood, don't forget the smell of a nice fire burning. Man I love it just thinking about it. I'll stick with my starter cubes.

Clever way to light coals. If I had something like that, I'd definitely use it. Just gotta be careful moving it to the BBQ.

This was an experiment with not wanting to haul my propane tank over to the Performer to light up the coals
