Grilling Chilean Sea Bass

I recently had one of the best pieces of fish I've ever eaten at a restaurant called TAPS - Fish House and Brewery it was Miso Marinated Chilean Sea Bass and **** was it good. I want to try and reproduce it at home but I've never grilled Sea Bass; I've done salmon, halibut, catfish, talapia and tuna to name a few but never Sea Bass.

Any suggestions on grilling it? It's on sale here for $11.99 a lb this weekend so I want to give it a shot tomorrow.

BTW, if you're in the Orange County area I highly recommend TAPS, it was great.

Wow, that's a great price! It's over $20 a pound here in Chicago. It's a somewhat oily fish and very forgiving. I marinate it in soy-vay teriyaki and either grill it or bake it.

I would just lightly oil, season to your taste and grill over direct heat for 6-7 minutes a side. Depending on the thickness. Enjoy!
