Good Friday-NonQ-Crawfish 2 ways

No pit, smoke or charcoal used here, but thought id share.

Crawfish Etoufette, fried crawfish, and Corn macque cheaux. All of this bbq and smoking has definitely taken a toll on my Cajun cooking. BUT i still have a feel for the kitchen and cast iron. Never made a macque cheaux before, but i know what it tastes like and basically whats in it and i have to say it came out pretty decent. :)

the crawfish itself was imported by my parents from south louisiana on their last trip and it seemed a little unspectacular out of the package. The color was a little light and it cooked oddly, BUT it smelled fine and i confidently say it was Safe to eat. I cooked the hell out of it and have to say it came out MUCH better than i was thinking it would when it was in the pot. OO and i fried another pound of crawfish just for fun :).

Overall successful cook and im fatter than i was 3 hours ago. PS.. the wife wasnt hungry but cleaned out a FULL PLATE, thats how i know it turned out well.

I want a plate of that Crawfish Etoufette now Rusty, busy looking stove.
You can't BBQ every day.... well some can:)
