Does anyone have/use this accessory for their Genesis Silver grills?

does anyone have the smoker box attachment shown and if so how do you like it vs one you can place on top of the grates and where would you get the special grates needed for this attachment? Debating whether or not to get one

I would say you'd be just as well off with a smoke tube and a bag of pellets.
It would certainly be cheaper.

Used to have one. I tossed it in the trash. Way more effective to just use a packet of foil and wood chips or pellets. That box left an awful mess inside my grill, and the smoke simply discharges at grate level right next to a vent.
Just use foil packs under the grate

I have a rectangular ss box that I now use in the Q mini. Fill with chips and it works pretty good. No mess as all the stuff stays in the box. I kept some traeger pellets to use in it but haven't yet. Takes up 1/3 of the Q grate but they I'm only doing 2 burgers.
