bacon Shelflife

So i tried to search for this and i'm sure its been answered but i could not find it.

How long can my newly cured and smoked bacon last in the fridge in my plastic bags? I don't have a vacuum sealer but i have them in freezer bags. I'm sure i can freeze a few bags, but i was planning on leaving some in the fridge for awhile.

Any thoughts? (bacon never lasted long in my house but we are all on diets so it will last longer.)

My research shows about 3 to 4 weeks in the fridge.

Curing and smoking are ways to preserve meat, so it should last a while. But it does freeze well.
