Just started a restoration of the above. I was hoping someone has had success doing this before.
The rack on the cart has moderate corrosion the majority of which came off easily with a metal scour pad. I tried getting into the wire joints with a razor scraper a la kettle club recommendations but I found the rack has a grey plastic coating on it. So apart from blasting and re-coating does anyone have any suggestions?

Just sand it down, wipe clean, dry, then throw a couple coats of rust oleum spray paint on it. Grey or black, either looks good.
Can’t really get rid of the rust or rust color, so best to treat it
 
I will let you know how I get on. Hopefully with a few photos. I found a couple of other probs. also. One of the Wheels fell off! The Starlock washer on one of the wheel hubs had failed and someone had just wound some insulation tape around the axle and the plastic cross member by that wheel was broken and just araldited back on to the cart leg!! Nothing too expensive to fix.
