Looks GREAT! I always seem to forget to do the 90 degree turn to get the nice criss-cross grill marks. I think the sights, sounds, and smells must just be too distracting for me.
 
Hey I've got the same cast iron grates on my gasser. I'm going to use one next time I'm using this method.

@ Brad, yes it was rare. but I grilled one for my wife and then just had a cast iron pan on the gas grill that i put it in for a few more minutes for her liking. did a flank steak and roasted a bunch of peppers tonight same method. One of the best I have ever had.
