In a good year we have about 20+ tower cranes operating in Chicago. New York has about 130 going right now and somebody really buffed up on this lift.
I had no idea a crawler could go 50 stories and obviously the counter weights failed when they were lowering it, and it acted like a teeter totter.
Miraculously there was only one fatality,
if that would of veered to the left or right how many buildings could 50 stories of steel take out.
