Not as cool as some great mods here, but a simple, cost effective solution to the poor original door handle design.
The original hole for the door handle had to be slightly enlarged using a step-drillbit.
A £5.00 cam-lock available from most hardware stores.
Works brilliantly!, & remember folks, always wear gloves when handling hot bbq's.
