They go for $349 in my neck of the woods. which is what I paid earlier this spring. Was worth every penny !!

Yeah, they are a pricey piece and even the used ones up here seem to go for $160-200. I did not really want the extra bells and whistles, but at this price...

For that price go for it. The gas assist is great and you can use it to fire the coals for that WSM you got as well. Nice work table for the WSM too.

Rona has 'em for $299 but Home Depot will beat the price by 10%. So that is $269 CAD or about 240 US. And you can usually get an additional 10% "seniors" discount (starts at 56 apparently! LOL) Either way it is a heckuva deal.

The best thing would be thst you would get a new and great grill with all the factory warrinty for a C note off.

I'm SOL. Of the 6 HDs in my area, not one has the Performer in stock. Unfortunately, the price guarantee only applies to in-stock items. It also doesn't apply to clearance items - which is what Rona has the Performer marked as - but perhaps the sales associate may have ignored/not noticed that detail.
Oh well.
