Standing Rib Roast

Each year we get the grand kids and kids together prior to Christmas so they can be back home for the actual Big Day. Today is especially important to have them close to me because of the tragedy in CT. I seared two roasts in cast iron and covered them in "cow crust" then placed them in a 225* cooker one for 3.5 hours and one for 4 hours. Oh My Goodness!

Nice Choice Rib Roasts:

Rib roast done with care is amazing--and you certainly did yours with loving care! As others wrote, that looks delicious!

Dwain, that's the type of dinner plate i could sit and stare at for minutes (OK, maybe ONE minute) before i would devour it...
AWESOME!!

Awesome cook and photos Dwain! I plan on rib roast for Christmas this year so hopefully mine will come out half as good as yours!
