Weber Summit Charcoal - Obscure Details and Assembly

Probably, but with some modification. The radius isn't the same so you would have to use spacers. You would also have to lighten the springs. The WSM lid weighs a lot less.

PART V The quick reference and manuals. In three languages. The quick reference is thick (think manila folder)and laminated. Quick refeference front. Quick reference rear. Almost forgot the diffuser. This thing is heavy! My guess is 10 pounds(?). Well made. It feels like something that...

Weber Summit Charcoal - Obscure Details and Assembly

PART IV Performer in the background. Considerably larger. Another pain point. The little basket looks like a great idea and it is but the rails are terrible implementation. Easy to pull out but a pain in the butt to shove in easily. Problem is that it wiggles in the slot and one of the...

PART III Protective film over the vent. The seal is broken! The family all together. Soon to be downsized? Biggest complaint here. Picture taken underneath the front lid. The lid doesn't sit evenly on the lower bowl. You have a little bit of centering control with the elongated slots in...

Weber Summit Charcoal - Obscure Details and Assembly

PART II Another close up of the secret hole. Standard igniter wiring. Heat shield for the propane bottle. One beef here - the hose needed to be a little longer to get around the shield or the shield needs to be bent toward the bowl a little more. It was tough to hookup as is out of the box...

Weber Summit Charcoal - Obscure Details and Assembly

A little back story... I have lurked here for many years and enjoyed reading all of the posts (thank you fellow BBQ Geeks). I have learned quite a few things as well. In 2009 – 2012 my wife and I captained a KCBS team. Our best finishes came off the WSM using a Rocks Stoker, even when we had...

Yes, I do it all the time.

    Just ordered my Stoker!!!

The guru eyelets work fine with the Stoker. When my probes were new they were a tight fit to slide through the eyelet. I just backed the tubing off of the metal part of the probe a little and pushed them in. Now that they have had a few dozen cooks on them the tubing has shrunk up enough that...

Preferred network set-up for a Stoker

If you have the ability to run the cable- Ethernet will be the easiest to use and most reliable IMHO. If you are comfortable with networking another wireless access point/router can be bridged as well. Both options will allow you to open a specific port to the internet for remote...

    Stokerlog Version 6

Thanks Amir! I am running stoker firmware version 2.6.0.249. Version 6.6 of the stoker log has been flawless for me. I used to get exception errors all the time. I have done three cooks on the new software and it was perfect. Thanks again!

Does the 5 CFM blower cut it for you on your stoker?

It cuts it for me. WSM 22. I usually burn off the remaining fuel at the end of a cook and it easily reaches 300+.

Pork shoulder picnic just went on the smoker

And I'm twittering... http://twitter.com/bbqcraft If you stay up all night and follow the temps you have no life.

    Stoker

I don't see a need to wrap the leads. They are apparently a high temp rated material. They wipe clean easily with a cloth.
